Reputation management for contractors
Reputation management for contractors people call first.
When a pipe bursts or the AC quits in July, nobody reads your About page. They search, scan the stars and call. Pozul helps you earn more honest reviews, answer every one, and see where you show up on the map.
- A text after every job

Found the leak behind the dishwasher at midnight and left the kitchen cleaner than they found it.
Plumber, HVAC and roofer reviews
Four moments when your reviews do the selling.
Homeowners rarely know a contractor before they need one. Your Google profile is the first impression, the reference check and the tiebreaker.
The emergency search
Water on the floor, phone in hand. The homeowner types “emergency plumber near me” and calls one of the first few names. Recent reviews and a solid rating make that choice in seconds.
The big-ticket quote
A new furnace or a full roof gets three quotes and a lot of reading. Buyers look for proof you show up on time, explain the options and haul the mess away.
The seasonal rush
The first heat wave or hard freeze sends the whole town searching at once. A profile with fresh reviews and prompt replies looks open for business. One that went quiet in spring looks booked, or gone.
The neighborhood test
People want to know you work their side of town. Reviews that mention a subdivision, a street or the same old boiler tell them you have been there before.
When and how to ask
Ask while the fix is still fresh.
The best moment is right after the job is signed off: the water is back on, the house is cooling down, the truck is backing out of the driveway. Pozul sends a short text from your business name while the relief is real, then a polite reminder if the day gets away from them.
- Service calls: ask the same day, before the next emergency pushes you out of mind.
- Installs and replacements: ask after the first real test, like the first hot afternoon with the new unit or the first storm on the new roof.
- Every customer: including the job that ran long. That's fair, and it's Google's rule.
- 2:10 PMJob closed
- 2:40 PMReview request
- Day 3One friendly nudge
Replies you approve
Answer the glowing review and the grumpy one in the same week.
Homeowners read your replies to judge how you'd treat them if something went wrong. Pozul alerts you when a review lands and drafts a response in your voice. You or the office manager edit it, approve it and publish it. Nothing goes live without a person.
- Thank the tech by name. Customers remember who showed up.
- Own the miss. Acknowledge it, skip the excuses, offer a direct line.
- Keep the job private. No addresses, invoice amounts or photos of their home in a public reply.
Luis swapped our water heater the afternoon we called and walked me through the new settings. Quick, tidy, fair price.
Thanks, Priya. Luis will be glad the walkthrough helped. Enjoy the hot showers, and call us if anything ever seems off.
The AC works now, but the tech showed up three hours after the window I was given and nobody called.
Sam, you're right to be frustrated, and I'm sorry. Running three hours late without a call isn't how we work. I'd like to hear the rest and make it right. Please call me at the office. Dana, owner
Local search grid
See which neighborhoods can actually find you.
A plumber can sit near the top of Google Maps around the shop and slip off the first screen a few miles out. Pozul's local search grid checks your map position at points across your service area, for the searches homeowners really type, and shows nearby competitors alongside you.
- One keyword at a time. “Water heater repair near me” can rank very differently from “plumber near me”.
- Find the weak side of town. Spot the areas where you drop out of view.
- Track it over time. Watch visibility alongside your rating and review pace.

Borrow the wording, then look at what your customers type into Google. Those are the keywords worth tracking on your grid.

No coupons for reviews. Not even ten dollars off the next tune-up.
Trading a discount for a five-star review is common in the trades, and it breaks Google's rules, as does asking only the customers you expect to be happy. Pozul sends the same honest ask to every customer, including the one whose job ran long, so the reviews that build up are ones you can stand behind.

Contractor reviews, answered.
Straight answers for plumbing, HVAC, roofing and other home service businesses.
How do I get more Google reviews for my plumbing business?
Ask every customer on the day the job is finished, while the fix is still fresh. A short text from your business name with one link to your Google review page suits most service calls. Pozul sends that request for you, follows up once or twice if they haven't gotten to it, and then stops.
When should an HVAC company ask for a review?
For repairs and tune-ups, ask the same day. For a new system, it can help to wait a few days so the customer has lived with it through a hot afternoon or a cold night. Either way, ask every customer, keep the message short, and make the review link the only thing to tap.
How should a roofing company respond to a negative review?
Reply publicly, briefly and calmly. Thank them, name the specific problem, and offer to talk it through by phone. Leave out invoice details and the point-by-point rebuttal. Future customers read your reply to see how you handle a problem. Pozul drafts a response that you edit and approve before anything is published.
What is a local search grid, and why does it matter for contractors?
It's a grid of points laid over your service area. At each point, Pozul checks where your business appears on Google Maps for a keyword such as “AC repair near me”. Because contractors travel to the customer, it shows which neighborhoods see you near the top and which don't. It measures visibility; it doesn't promise rankings.
Can Pozul remove bad reviews of my home service business?
No. Pozul doesn't remove or hide legitimate reviews. What helps is replying to every review professionally and asking all of your customers, so one rough job is a small part of the picture. If a review breaks Google's policies, for example it's from someone who was never a customer, you can report it to Google.
